Directions from LAX to CSUN are fairly simple, but the trick is
to miss "rush hour" northbound traffic on the 405 Freeway
(Fwy). Arrival date and time will determine how fast one can travel
the 30 miles to CSUN.

Parking
Students from outside the CSUN community will need to visit
Information Booth #1 (located at Lindley Ave and Nordhoff St.)
or Information Booth #2 (located on Prairie St. between Darby Ave
and Etiwanda Ave) to purchase a Visitor Parking
Pass for $5.00,
which will entitle the student to park in Faculty or Student parking
spots in Parking Lots B6 and E6.
Directions to CSU Northridge from LAX/West Los Angeles:
Exit LAX onto Century Blvd (Go East on Century Blvd) and get on
the 405 Fwy - Northbound. Travel northward for about 25 miles and
exit the freeway at Nordhoff St. Turn Left (Westbound) and go approximately
4 miles to Lindley Ave. Turn Right and drive up to Information
Booth #1.
Directions to CSU Northridge from 101 FWY (South)
Exit 101 FWY (South) at Reseda Blvd and turn Left onto Reseda Blvd.
Proceed north on Reseda Blvd for 5 – 7 miles to Nordhoff
St. Drive past Nordhoff St for 3 blocks to Prairie St. Turn Right
and proceed past Darby Ave to Information Booth #2 (Left hand
side of street).
Directions to CSU Northridge from Los Angeles
Proceed Northbound on Interstate FWY 5 to the 118 FWY West (5 – 7
miles) to Reseda Blvd Exit. Exit the freeway and turn Right. Proceed
to the next traffic signal and turn Right again onto Reseda Blvd.
Drive south on Reseda Blvd to Prairie St (approx 4 miles) and turn
Left onto Prairie St. Proceed past Darby Ave to Information Booth
#2 (Left hand side of street).
