| Overview of BOC in California
BOC operates in seventeen states
coast to coast including the Northeast, Midwest and the West Coast.
In California, BOC is administered
by the Sacramento
Municipal Utility District in Sacramento, and
by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council (NEEC) throughout
the rest of the state. New to California in 2002, BOC is sponsored
by the state’s investor-owned utilities — Pacific Gas & Electric,
San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, and
Southern California Gas — as a service to their commercial customers.
BOC training is offered in locations throughout the state including
Downey, Irvine, Irwindale, Ontario, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco,
Santa Monica, and Stockton. Visit the training
page for a current schedule of classes. (For Sacramento training

Municipal Utility District.)
On-site training is available
for companies 20 or more operators interested in participating.
