  • identify and prioritize conservation opportunities.
  • identify opportunities to improve operation and maintenance procedures.
  • successfully complete the take-home facility project assignment.

Facility Project Assignment:
A. Calculate gross square footage (From floor plan of 101)
B. Collect 2 years of energy consumption data - All fuels
C. Graph consumption and calculate Energy Use Index
D. Pie chart of annual energy and dollar amounts
E. Write short synopsis of utility analysis, which should include:

i.  Rolling 12 month trend analysis of each utility
ii.  Seasonal/monthly trends
iii. Quantify seasonal and base loads, BTU, $

F.  List major systems in seasonal and base loads
G. Review equipment list from 101
H. Apply utility analysis results to facility systems
