Prerequisites: Students will have completed BOC Level 1 series or equivalent
competency shall be shown. Students should also have an at least a basic understanding
of their own facility heating / cooling system. Understand the basic nature
of IAQ and how it could apply to their facility.
Learning Outcomes/Competencies:
At the completion of Advanced Indoor Quality, a participant will:
- List a minimum of three Indoor Air Quality issues
- Apply strategies to solving IAQ problems on site
- Describe the equipment for taking air flow & sampling measurements
- Complete the forms for taking air flow & sampling measurements
- describe the elements of good IAQ policy.
- create a plan for IAQ for their site
- know IAQ terminology and hazard assessment
