Continuing Education
Participating in continuing education demonstrates your commitment to keeping up with industry trends. Over 75 percent of employers interviewed see BOC certification as a positive factor when reviewing resumes. To maintain certification, continued education in the field is required.
Awareness of BOC is growing nationally. Training is available in twenty-four states and over 8,000 operators hold BOC certification nationally. This makes the BOC credential more valuable and more widely recognized by employers. Below are some of the continuing education options available to help you maintain the valuable certification you have earned.
First and foremost are the BOC live and recorded webinars, which provide 1.5 hours towards your certification renewal for each session taken and quiz passed.
In addition, below are listings for the web sites of various national and regional organizations that offer continuing education courses that are applicable to annual BOC certification renewal. Check out the Education, Professional Development and Events Calendars at these sites.
