A consortium of electric and gas utilities in the Northeast provided
the necessary funding to establish the Northeast region’s
BOC program which began in 2000. They brought BOC to the region
to provide commercial and institutional customers with a nationally-recognized
training and certification. BOC serves customers in eight states
including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New
Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
