BOC Graduate Receives 2008 BetterBricks
Award
NEEC is pleased to announce BOC graduate Dino
Gonzales, Lead Facilities Engineer at Philips Healthcare
in Washington State, was recently honored with the
2008 BetterBricks Award in the category of facility
manager/operator. The BetterBricks annual awards
recognize individuals in the Northwest for their
contributions to improving the energy performance
of our region’s commercial buildings. Working
in collaboration with Snohomish PUD, Dino’s
energy efficiency work has translated Philips Healthcare
global corporate efficiency and sustainability goals
into local action at the Bothell, WA manufacturing
and research facility, saving the company $150,000

is an IFMA
Approved Provider Program for
the Facility Management Professional (FMP)
and Certified Facility Manager (CFM) designations. BOC
offers FMP candidates with course offerings
to assist in earning the FMP designation. BOC
courses also provide CFM/FMP Maintenance Points
