Fifteen pieces of energy efficiency legislation are currently awaiting time on the Senate and House floors. Annually, ACEEE publishes information on the macroeconomic and job impacts these policies could have on the US economy. It finds that combined, the legislation could save $100 billion over time (net after investments), create 100,000 added jobs in 2030, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 50 million metric tons in that year.
