The Standard National tuition rate for Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations is $1,450. Discounts are available for registrants from some regions. Click Register Online to see specific course pricing.

Fundamentals Training

This introductory course teaches the basic principles of energy efficiency awareness and practices in commercial buildings over a total of 18 hours. The content of this course is designed for those seeking a solid foundational understanding of energy efficiency and building systems who have less than a year of experience in the field. Level I Training

Level 174 hours of training and project work in building systems maintenance. All class times are held as noted below. Registering is easy, learn how below.

Level II Training

Level 261 hours of training and elective coursework in evaluating the operational performance of buildings to improve energy efficiency.

NOTE: Specific building information is REQUIRED in order to complete project assignments. See Level II Project Requirements FAQ for details.

The city of Boston has enacted the Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO) BOC Level II Training Certificate of Completion is approved as a Qualified Energy Professional Credential. More information can be found here: BERDO – Reporting Guide – Google Docs

Multifamily Training

This course is designed for multifamily facility operators with two or more years of experience in operation and maintenance of multifamily facilities who wish to broaden their knowledge of building systems maintenance. Completion of BOC Level I Multifamily requires a time commitment of 74 hours which includes seven classes, work-site projects, and open-book tests.
