Level II Training and Washington State Compliance

BOC Level II is recognized as one of the qualified training programs that meets the requirements for the “qualified person” responsible for determining compliance with the Washington State Clean Buildings Performance Standard. The Smart Buildings Center offers a technical assistance helpdesk to support facility personnel responsible for their building’s compliance with the standard. Learn more.

Level II Training and City of Seattle Compliance

The City of Seattle has a building tune up ordinance. BOC Level II training can assist with compliance. Learn more.

BOC Aligns with ISO 17024

We have undertaken an initiative to align the BOC program with an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for organizations that certify personnel. Part of this change is the addition of a comprehensive certification exam. Learn more about changes to the program.

Training Certificate of Completion

After successfully completing Level I or Level II training individuals will receive a Training Certificate of Completion (TCOC). Level I students who pass the Certification Exam will become a Certified Building Operator.
