CUNY’s Building Performance Lab, a BOC Approved Provider, partnered with New York City’s DCAS to document energy management best practices initiated by front-line building operators, and showcase how individual employees can make a difference. Each week, we will feature one of the videos for building operators nationwide to access and learn from.

Video 4- This video demonstrates a technique for investigating energy usage if a building’s EUI is indicating uncommonly high kWh readings. The video features Marvin Jeffcoat, a Facility Manager with the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, who initiated the exhaust fan scheduling, and is one of NYC’s “Heroes in the Basement.”
