Position Overview
The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) invites applications from qualified individuals to survey the colleges’ infrastructure and to develop minor capital requests for infrastructure repairs to be included in the college system’s 2021-23 budget request to the Washington state Legislature.

In this 18-month project position, the infrastructure analyst will prioritize infrastructure system repairs by visiting campuses and collecting information from college staff, vendors and local authorities. The deadline for the completed request is June 2020. We anticipate it will take about nine months for the infrastructure analyst to survey all the colleges. After the survey work is done, the infrastructure analyst will attend several system and other agency meetings to share information about our infrastructure needs.

SBCTC Vision and Mission
Our vision is to build strong communities, individuals and families, and achieve greater global competitiveness and prosperity for the state and its economy by raising the knowledge and skills of the state’s residents. We support and empower the Washington state community and technical colleges to increase higher education opportunities and student participation through advocacy, resources, information, leadership and accountability. Our values are focused on customer service, integrity, humor/exuberance, expertise and effective communication.

We value the contributions and perspectives of each diverse individual in creating a supporting, caring and respectful environment.
