The Green Schools Alliance and the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council are excited to announce a new education partnership to offer the Building Operator Certification (BOC ©) program to Green Schools Alliance members at a discounted rate. The partnership supports Green Schools Alliance’s commitment to helping their members set and meet individual and collective sustainability goals, and supports their dedication to working together to solve climate and conservation challenges.
NEEC wishes to recognize organizations like Green Schools Alliance by partnering with them to offer discounted tuitions to members and their employees to attend Building Operator Certification training classes. The program offers Green Schools Alliance members and their employees a discount of $100 on each BOC registration for a full course series and provides them with recognition of BOC credentialed personnel. In exchange, Green Schools Alliance will inform their members of training opportunities through BOC, the discounted tuition benefit to members and benefits of holding an industry recognized credential.
“We are confident this partnership between NEEC and the Green Schools Alliance will contribute to better building performance and career advancement by providing technicians with a means of distinguishing themselves to employers through improved job skills and a commitment to the profession,” said Stan Price, Executive Director of NEEC.
The partnership applies to all BOC Level I and II trainings across the U.S. and Canada.
