Malden Catholic High School, a Xaverian Brothers’ Sponsored School since 1932, seeks a full-time Director of Facilities to support the School’s commitment to provide reliable, high quality, clean and safe facilities to its’ 575 students and 70 faculty/staff members.

The Director provides multi-faceted facility services to ensure cultural and educational opportunities are delivered to the campus community in a way which complements the tradition the Xaverian Brothers. This includes all aspects of facilities maintenance and operations: custodial and maintenance services, mechanical and electrical systems, utility systems, grounds care, parking lots, athletic fields, sustainability, energy conservation, basic safety/compliance with regulations, minor alterations, support for campus events, and capital projects management. This position plays a critical and highly visible role within the Malden Catholic community.

Malden Catholic’s facility is a 131,000 square foot, two story building sitting on a 10 acre campus, including three athletic fields.

The Director will supervise a team of four full time staff members who maintain building and grounds by providing housekeeping, grounds keeping, and repair services. The Director will also maintain the parts/equipment inventory/custodial supplies inventories.

To be successful, the Director must bring an unusual blend of technical and interpersonal skills to the role as well as being service oriented with excellent leadership and management skills. Experience in best practices in project management, desire to contribute to a team effort, and appreciation of the educational environment and culture is required.
