Cynthia Putnam (Project Director) and Olga Gazman (Manager of Training) presented at the 2012 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings. There was a full 5-day track on training and education for a low energy economy, and 12 other tracks on topics ranging from utility energy efficiency programs, codes, energy benchmarking, building efficiency and human behavior, and more.

Ms. Gazman presented the paper Leveraging National Guidelines for Building Operator Credentialing which discusses the increasing importance of establishing a national standard for training and certifying building operators. Ms Putnam presented Job Placement for the Unemployed through Partnerships with Industry-Recognized Credential Programs detailing the benefits of training unemployed workers with the long term goal of job placement.
