Dear Participant,
We invite you to participate in an online survey entitled: Energy Efficiency Retrofit Implementation in Buildings. This survey is part of the dissertation of Lysandra Amanta Medal, a Ph.D. Student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington, in collaboration with Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia.
The research will investigate the decision processes related to prioritizing building energy efficiency retrofit projects. Your response will provide valuable insight that will be used to investigate the key considerations when implementing energy efficiency retrofit in a portfolio of buildings in a global context. In addition, participants may choose to be entered in a drawing to win one of fifteen (15) $20 Starbucks gift cards. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please consider participating in this survey if you meet one of the following criteria:
1.) I manage the building operations and maintenance
2.) I participate in selecting energy efficiency or other building upgrades
3.) I provide services to help organizations make energy efficiency or other building upgrades
Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. You may decline altogether or leave blank the questions you do not wish to answer. Your responses will remain confidential and anonymous. Your decision will have no effect on your job or any benefits you receive now or in the future. Data generated by the study will be kept in accordance with the University’s policy on academic integrity.
