Reporting to the Senior Director for Facilities and Operations, this position plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the efforts of assigned staff. Assures efficient, effective and responsive customer-oriented services including building maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, remodeling, renovation, utilities, and other services for various college facilities including parking lots and pedestrian walkways. Works with other agencies, staff and groups to accomplish the work, mission, goals and vision of the college. Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements and legal requirements. Manages expenditures within budget parameters and guidelines. Develops relationships with staff, other departments and individuals outside the college that encourage participation, teamwork, effective relationships and effective use of resources. Represents the college by maintaining a professional approach and demeanor in all activities. Independently performs work with minimal supervision, structure or guidance.
