The mission of the Washington State University Extension Energy Program is “to increase the efficiency and sustainability of facility operations by providing timely and creative technical assistance, education and consultation to support facility construction, operation and maintenance.” Their website is a valuable asset to those in the building profession who strive to operate their facilities in an efficient and sustainable manner.
Resources include their newsletter, “Shop Talk,” which features articles on how real organizations make changes to improve their energy efficiency; the Consortium Toolbox which houses recorded trainings, equipment resources, and handy bookmarks; and an event calendar for industry professionals to keep up with training opportunities, including the BOC, conferences, and other events.
This information is shared with our BOC community to help you reap the benefits of opportunities to engage with other energy efficiency minded building professionals and continually broaden your knowledge.
